I love a good sketch challenge and when I saw this one over at the Cas(E) this Sketch! Challenge blog, I knew exactly what I wanted to create!
Here's a look at my take on the sketch...
I absolutely love any die cut that has stitched edges! I had to pair these stitched hearts with the rectangle stitched framelits. These are an absolute "must have" in everyone's collection!
Can you ever have too much stitching on a project? I don't think so :)
My stamped greeting for this card comes from the beautiful Heartfelt stamp set in the new 2020 Mini Catalogue. You can see a closer image of all of the products I used on my card today by clicking the image in the link to the products below.
Today I have a fun card that uses some images from the adorable new Sale-A-Bration stamp set called "The Gang's all Meer" I paired this set with a couple of images from the Forever Lovely stamp set from the Annual catalogue.
I did this card live on my facebook page today. You can watch the live video here.
Edited to Add My Youtube Video:
I thought those Streaming hearts fit perfectly floating out of the cactus from the Gang's All Meer set.
I just love the little smile from this little guy!
This card features 3 different size dies from my favourite set of dies in the new Mini catalogue. This set is called Stitched So Sweetly and it has so many awesome shapes with lovely stitching around the edges. I could not wait to cut these shapes and I was thrilled with how this card came together so quickly just by cutting several rectangles of both cardstock and the gorgeous From My Heart Specialty DSP.
Here's a look at the products I used to make this card. Please click on any picture to see a larger image to and to go to my online store.
Thanks so much for coming back to visit my blog today! Hugs, Rose
Here's the new Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Everything in this Catalogue can be earned FREE every time you spend at least $60 of your choice of Stampin up! products! SWEET!
Did you catch my Facebook Friday Live yesterday? I was so excited to Introduce this new catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure! I kicked it off with two new card demonstrations using one of my favourite suites called "From My Heart Suite" You can see the live by clicking the link to my YouTube recording below...
Layer #1 (Card Base): Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 41/4 x 11 , scored at 5 1/2"
Layer #2: Flirty Flamingo 4 x 51/4"
Layer #3: Whisper white 3 3/4x 5" (run through the new Parisian Flourish Emossing folder first)
Layer #4: Dsp strip from My heart Designer Series Paper packs (heart pattern) 1"x 3 3/4"
The front of the card has hearts that have been stamped using the Heartfelt Stamp set and Memento and Real Red inks. they were punched using the New Heart Punch Pack.
This card also has a small knot tied from the New Real Red 3/8" Double-Stitched Stain Ribbon and attached with a glue dot.
A close up of the card front..
Here's a look at my second card....
This card features a "Gate fold" and it is held together with a fun little belly band that just slips easily off like this...
Here are the card measurements for this card:
Layer #1 (Card Base): Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" , scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8"
Layer #2: Whisper white 2 pieces each measuring 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"
Layer #3: A Dsp strip from My heart Designer Series Paper packs (shiny Red foil pattern) 3/4" x 12"
I just simply wrapped the long strip of the shiny Red DSP around the front of the card and "loosely " attached it at the back using Multipurpose Glue. Then I attached a Flirty Flamingo Doily to the strip and finished it with a heart punched from the DSP and added with Stampin Dimensionals.
I made both of these cards using the Heartfelt Bundle! The best part is... when you purchase the bundle together for $61.00 you'll be saving 10% AND you'll qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration items of your choice!!

Want to heat things up for Valentine's day? How about a heart shaped rice bag? My apologies, I'm feeling a little "cheeky" today!!
I made this rice bag using the More Amore fabric from the mini catalogue. I cut two pieces of the red pattern with the petal cone die and the big shot. I sewed them togethr with the right sides facing each other and then flipped them inside out. Filled it with rice... any grain such as barley or wheat berries would do...just not minute rice.
I tied a small strip of fabric around the heart and used a small safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets to attach a flower (cut from the flower trim) and a love tag. This can easily be slid off before putting the rice bag in the microwave. Heat up for 1-2 minutes and you have instant heat... AWWW!!! Coming from a person who is always frozen.. I love it!!!
Here's a closer look....
I hope you are having a happy Valentine's day and you are surrounded by love.
Today I'd like to share with you a couple of Valentine's treats I've put together. In each cello bag, is the Hershey treat container I described in a previous post here.
For the first one, I've attached a topper made with one of the hearts from the sheet of die cut hearts from the More Amore dsp. This dsp is awesome! You get two die cut sheets of these hearts, one in pink and one in red. There are 16 hearts on each sheet for a total of 32 hearts!!
I've just stamped the Happy Valentine's day stamp in Real Red ink and punched it out with the Full heart punch. Easy!!
For the next one, I've just cut two of the larger shapes from the Apothecary Accents framelits, and then another one using the Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp. This one, I cut in half to make a pocket to hold a gift card behind the whale. I attached them to the cello bag with two glimmer brads.
The whale and the greeting are from the stamp set called Oh,Whale. I just love this cute little set!!
I am having so much fun with the Petal card double punch! Today, I have another little treat container using 8 of the punched out shapes.
The bottom is reinforced with 21/2 inch circle punch of Real Red cardstock. The outside is decorated with hearts from the small heart punch.
Won't these will be fun for Easter filled with little Easter eggs? mmm..choocolate :)
I was thinking this container could use a little handle, so I cut a 3/4 inch strip of cardstock and folded it in the middle. I placed a glue dot at the fold and then I used my bone folder to gently smooth out the rounded shape of the heart. Does that make sense? Take a look...
I've done a little video to show you how quickly this little box can be made.
Hope your having a fantastic day and you'll come back soon!
Today I have a cute and simple little box made with one of Stampin up! punches called the Petal card double punch. The original creator of this cute box was Mary Fish on her blog stampinpretty.com. She made hers into a cute little bunny box.
They are the perfect size to hold a Hershey kiss (or two) !
With Valentine's day just around the corner I thought these would be a cute thing to do for some special people. :)
On the pink box, I used the new Petite Curly label punch and the new Pretty Petites stamp set, which you can get either of these items for FREE with a $60 order during Sale-A-Bration!
Check out my new video that will show you how easily these fun little boxes come together.
I live in Calgary Alberta with my husband Kevin two wonderful children, Andrew and Amanda. I enjoy being a stay at home mom and being a Stampin Up! demonstrator. I feel like the luckiest person to be able to be with my family and to have a job that I can pick my own hours and it never seems like work. Life is Good!!
