Hello!
Today, I am playing along with this week's Global Design Project Challenge. #GDP199. It's a Theme challenge and it's titled "For the Love of Craft"
Well, how could I resist this one! Stampin up! has so many things to choose from for this challenge!
Here's what I came up with using the stamp set called Crafting Forever. These fun pouches are made with 2 paper lunch bags and they can be stuffed with so many things for any occasion. Wouldn't these make a fun gift for Birthday or Christmas or Halloween? There are so many things you could fill them with!
I actually made these a few years ago for pillow gifts for a girls trip and I filled them with "girly" things like an eye mask, hand lotion, nail file and some fun treats. You can see those in this post.
Because the theme is crafting, I chose to fill mine with Stampin up! supplies.
I absolutely love the Crafting Forever stamp set!
In April of 2017, I had the privilege of demonstrating with this set at Onstage. There are so many ways to use the stamps in this set.
Here's my video showing how I made these ...
Here's a look at all the Stampin up! products I used to make these fun pouches...
Today, I'd like to share a card using one of my absolute favourite bundles from the new Annual Catalogue!
The bundle is called Noble Peacock and it includes the Royal Peacock Stamp Set and the co-ordinating Detailed peacock dies. You can click on the items at the bottom of this post to see them closeup. They are stunning!!
Check out the video tutorial showing how I made this card
Here's a look at the card opened ...
Here's a close up... look at that shine from the DSP and the Foil I just love it!!

Hello!
Oh what a great trip we had on the Stampin up! Incentive trip! My husband and I enjoyed a seven day Cruise of the Greek Isles and it was honestly like a dream!
Because I know you all helped me earn this trip, I would like to share some of my pictures with you! I have sooo many photos, so I have decided to share them a little each day. Here's my recap of Day #1
Here we are on the plane, ready to go! So excited!
We travelled to Toronto and had a 3 hour stop over and then we flew 8 1/2 hour to Rome. We arrived around 10:00 am the next morning. We didn't sleep a single wink on the plane so we were pretty tired one the 1 hour bus ride form the airport to the Cruise ship Terminal.
Here we are after being up all night LOL...
We made it to the ship and it felt so good to check into our room and have a shower and a little rest.
Stampin up! gives all the achievers a balcony room. It was so nice to wake up and see right out at the ocean every morning.
I could look out at the ocean all day!
Here's a look at the door hangings they put on everyone's doors on the ship! They go through lots of effort to make us feel special.
After, we freshened up and had a rest, we headed to the hospitality room where all the Achievers get to spin the wheel for a prize every day.
These we went for a walk around the ship and met some great friends that we have cruised with before! We have missed them!
Stampin up! spoiled us with an amazing spread of food and music at the Sailaway party poolside.
I got to meet up with some more SU friends, whom I hardly get the chance to see. It's great to catch up with them!
Here's Anne, Bonnie and I
After the party, we returned to find this awesome Pillow gift!
Here's the tag attached... A sneak peek! Black Stampin Dimensionals!!! Say What?
Here's what was inside the bag.. A brand new GORGEOUS Purse!!!
It so beautiful!! I absolutely love that it's a back pack too! Stampin up! really spoils us on these trips!
Day #1 was absolutely amazing!! I am truly grateful to Stampin up!, my Team members and all my customers both online and in person. I could not imagine a better dream come true.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Hello!
For my past facebook Friday Live, I was inspired to create a project using this week's sketch challenge posted over at the Global Design Project site.
For this card, I pulled out my Follow your Art Embellishment kit for some inspiration. This kit has so many wonderful elements. I especially love the felt accents with the white stitching. The felt comes in four different Stampin up! colors, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry. Check out those adorable charms and the clips! So much fun!
If you'd like to watch the replay of my Face book Friday live you can click here for my Facebook Business page
Here's the card I made on my live video...
Such a fun and easy card to create! I absolutely love the Button Button embossing folder for the background texture!
Here's a look at the other colors of felt accents from the kit...
Below you will find a list of all the things I used to create my cards. If you click on any of the images you will see a larger image and you can access my online store to order. So easy! If you place a minimum $30 from any where across Canada, by Midnight on Monday, June 24th, I will send you all of the cut pieces to make these 4 cards. Be sure to add your very own Follow your Art Embellishment kit so you can jazz up your cards with these gorgeous accents too!
Just use the following Host code at the checkout so I can send you your project kit!

I must admit, when Natalie White from the home office called me and asked if I would be a presenter at Onstage, I was honoured ... and then terrified! LOL
Don't get me wrong, I love to stamp and share what I love but the challenge to be handed a brand new set of products and to create with them to share with other demonstrators on Stage is a bit scary! But, knowing that my team would be with me in Vancouver, I felt encouraged to try my best and set an example for them. Yes, it's a bit scary but sometimes great things come from stepping outside our comfort zone! So I said YES!!
When the products arrived, I was blown away with all the amazing stuff in the box! OMG! Gorgeous! Check out the suite I got to "Play" with....
The Follow Your Art suite was designed to appeal to Paper Crafters!
Hello!!! OMG! I hit the Jackpot!!
Over the next few days and weeks, I simply could not stop playing with these fun products! I was having SO much fun!
Here's a look at the samples I made...
The felt embellishments are so much fun to work with!
Love the Button Button Embossing Folder, and that DSP is amazing!
A fun way to showcase the new In colors with stamps and dies that look like Re-inkers :)
These dies have fun embossed parts that really make them look so real!
So many great dies like the paper clip and the binder clip!!!
A fun belly band showcasing more of those gorgeous dies cut with silver foil and a tag featuring the Washi tape and the silver charm embellishment from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit.
The Label die is a great option to wrap baker's twine or other crafting threads. This would make a fun sampler to mail to a customer!
I was so excited to make these pages! The images in the designer series paper and the greeting from the Follow Your Art set were just perfect for Retreat pages!
These pages show a very special memory for me. Shelli and Sterling visited my Retreat in Canmore last October and stayed for a couple of hours with us. We enjoyed tea and a beautiful cake that my friend and team mate, Twila made. It was a memory I will never forget.
As you can tell, this was a wonderful experience for me. The products in this suite speak to my heart and I know I will continue to use them and enjoy them for a long time!
Thanks for letting me share with you!
Hugs ,
Hello!
Today, I would like to share with you the highlights of Day 2 at Onstage in Vancouver. We were up bright and early for a quick breakfast and then we all met up just outside the Convention room to gather our bags and get ready for the day. There was so much energy in the room as people met and were laughing and excited for the day.
Here we are lining up at the door. You can see all the people behind us lined up to get their Onstage bag with all the goodies inside.
We welcomed a new friend to sit with our team for the day. Here's Kimberley from Ontario. She is part of my friend, Genevieve Ko's team and she was visiting Vancouver. You are never alone while amongst Stampers and we were happy she sat with us!
My friend, Angela handed me beautiful gift bag as we were waiting, It was filled with treats! Such a thoughtful gift!
One we got inside, the energy was amazing with music and laughter and people hugging and saying hello to one another. Then the swapping began! All around the room you could see groups of people gathering to swap cards with one another.
Here's Renee swapping...
My friend Jenilee and I swapping our cards..
They had a fun challenge bingo on every table and we were supposed to find people to sign our Bingo sheets and to exchange contact info so that we could get to know one another. I thought this was a very clever way to get to meet new people.
Here's Twila and Kerry getting their sheets filled up!
The day began and we watched tons of presentation about the new catalogue, business updates, stamping and of course lots of Prize patrols...
Recognition is a big part of Onstage and I was so proud of Bonnie and Kerry who stood and waved for achieving their Quick Start Achievements this year! Congratulations ladies!!
I was also very proud of Twila for walking across the stage and announcing her name in the microphone for her 5 year Anniversary! Way to go Twila!!
Here's a look at our group!
Another shot of our team at the end of the day...
Being silly for this pose...
It was such an amazing day!! Everyone was pretty tired from all the excitement as the day was pretty jam packed!
In my next post, I will share my samples I prepared for my onstage presentation. I hope you will come back and check out this fun Product Spotlight! The product suite is called "Follow your Art" and I am in love!!
Hello!!
I am truly blessed to have had an amazing time this past weekend in Vancouver for Stampin up!'s Onstage Convention. We arrived on Friday and it was a beautiful afternoon in downtown Vancouver. There were 11 of us from my Ink-Cited Canadians team that went. Everyone dispersed for the afternoon to explore the beautiful city. Some ladies visited Granville Island, some visited family members and I went straight to the hotel and Convention centre to check in and head to my rehearsal for my presentation. Look at the beautiful views from the gorgeous Pan pacific Hotel which was in the same building as the Convention centre. It was a great hotel and I'm so happy we chose to stay here.
After my rehearsal, I had some time to myself to grab a Starbucks and walk along the waterfront. What a beautiful city!
At 5:30, I headed to the Centre Stage Event for the evening. This is an event offered to Silver Elite Leaders and above. I am blessed to have a Gold title which allows me to attend this wonderful evening. We were treated to a wonderful buffet dinner and dessert. The food was amazing! We had some leadership training and heard from fellow demonstrators about how they run their business and we got to chat together and share ideas. It was fabulous!
Meeting up with some demo friends from all over the country! left to right, Evelyn Woods, me, Alison Solven, and Lisa Althouse.
Beautiful flower arrangements on each table...
One of the best parts of the evening... getting handed one of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogues! This Catalogue is absolutely amazing!!
At the end of the evening, I met up with some more demo friends... Jenilee Pauls, Jenn Picard, Connie Collins and Leanne Livingston. So many wonderful, inspirational ladies in one place!!
As we walked out of the conference room we were handed a Centre stage gift! A beautiful clutch style bag and inside was a brand new Timeless label Punch. Boy, were we spoiled!!
Come back and see my next post which will be all about Day 2! There's so much to share!
Good afternoon!
Today, I had lots of fun on my Facebook Friday Live video! Did you know I go Live every Friday at 1:00pm Mountain Standard Time? You should plan to join me! I give away 2 prizes every week for anyone who share my video.
I absolutely love punch art and I wanted to make something for Easter. I was looking through my punches and the Christmas bulb Builder punch just seemed to resemble an easter egg (well, the top at least)
These cards came together so quickly and easily, you could whip a bunch of these in no time! I used the Story Label punch to make the basket. I just embossed some scrap Crumb Cake Cardstock and ran it through the basket Weave Embossing folder to get the impression of a basket. Then I used the punch and punched the single shape.
Please see the picture tutorial below to see how easily the basket comes together.
Here's how to make two baskets from one punch..
Attach Braided Linen Thread with glue dots for the handle...
It's not too late top order your supplies to arrive in time to make your very own Easter cards. Click the picture below to head to my online store and enter the hostess code in the picture to get a fun gift in the mail from me :)
Here's a look at the supplies I used to make today's card:
Stampin' Up has come out with a space-saving, completely customizable modular storage system that is going to clean up our craft rooms and make our creative time so much more fun and efficient.
Here's the answers (from Stampin up!) to all your questions about these units!
Will old-design Stampin’ Pads fit in the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays?
No. The Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays are designed to fit our new-design Stampin’ Pads only. Use the Open Storage Cube for the older styles and miscellaneous specialty pads.
How high can I stack storage trays?
We stacked up to 50 storage trays without any issues, BUT we would not recommend stacking that high. While our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are sturdy, the higher you stack them, the less stable they’ll become. Use your discretion when stacking.
Can I mount my Storage by Stampin’ Up! products on the wall?
Our modular storage products are designed to sit on a table (or similar flat surface). Drilling holes in them is not recommended.
How should I use the Open Storage Cube?
The Open Storage Cube can be used to hold any miscellaneous items like ribbon, embellishments, and small punches. You can also stack your old-style ink pads in these, if you have some colors still in that formation.
Can I mix and match Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?
Yes! Our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are modular and designed with customization in mind. Whether your space is long and low or tall and skinny, the cubes will configure to fit your space.
Here's a look at the individual units you can mix and match to make your craft space just perfect for you! Just click on any image to go straight to my online store where you can order form anywhere in Canada.
Click here to order with my current Hostess code and I'll send you a fun gift!
I live in Calgary Alberta with my husband Kevin two wonderful children, Andrew and Amanda. I enjoy being a stay at home mom and being a Stampin Up! demonstrator. I feel like the luckiest person to be able to be with my family and to have a job that I can pick my own hours and it never seems like work. Life is Good!!
