Stamping With Rose

You're my type...

That's the name of this fun new set form the Occasions mini catalogue.

This little typewriter brings me back to the day when I got my first typewriter. I'm sure Mom and Dad still have it stored in their attic!! I used to have fun typing away on that thing!

I'm thinking this set could be used for both masculine and feminine occasions. It comes with 6 little grettings too, so it's very versatile.

Here's  my first creation with this set...

 

The colors for today's card are Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Whipser White.I used basic black ink, one red glimmer brad and the two hearts are punched out of red glimmer paper using the tiny heart from the owl punch.

I hope you like today's quick card. I'm off to volunteer in Amanda's grade one class, then after school swimming lessons, supper and once Amanda's in bed... more creating for me!! I love being a "work at home Stampin up! Mom" LOL!!

Confessions of a button lover!

Happy Monday to you!

Ok.. so I admit... I am a total button lover!! To the point where I own  just about all of Stampin up!'s buttons and I seem to be just hoarding them! LOL! To me, they are like  a card-maker's candy and I adore them so much that I hate to use them up. Crazy isn't it!

So Today I am going out on a limb and using 6 buttons on a card! I just love how simple and clean this card is! I was inspired by a card that I recently saw on Pinterest. Have you been on this site? Oh my.. it's full of inspiration for whatever you into. I love it!!

Ok ... onto the card...

Very simple card using Real red and Whisper white cardstock. The stamp set is called Sprinkled Expressions and it's FREE with your $60 Sale-A-Bration order. This set is so cute!!

I just stamped the image in Realred ink and punched it out using the 2 1/2 inch punch. Then I used a double layer of dimensionals on the outside Whisper White cardstock to Pop it up a bit. Add some buttons and the greeting and it's a simple, clean card.

Another Leadership make and take...

Today I have another fun card using the stamp set called Mixed Bunch from the Occasions mini and the co-ordinating punch called Blossom.  This was actually one of the amazing Leadership make and take cards. Stampin up! did a fantastic job on the make and takes for leadership. I just love them!!

I love the simplicity of this card and the matching envelope!!

O.k.. I know that I seem to be hooked the last few days on this fun set and punch!! I promise that tomorrow's post will not use this set... I will move on to something different!

Windmill card..

Hello!!

Today I have a windmill card to share with you!! This is so much fun to do with just a 3x3 piece of designer series paper! You just cut straight lines in from the corners and fold back each flap that you make. Put a button on the middle and voila... a fun windmill!

This card was cased almost exactly from a swap card I got from Jennifer Magreevy. We are doing this card in my clubs this month, as well as my card buffet classes! If your interested in joining us please see the schedule at the top and let me know when you'd like to attend!

Mixed Bunch

Happy Friday to you!!

Today, I have a fun book mark that slips into a vinyl sleeve for added durability. I've used the Everyday Enchantment Designer series paper again on this project!! Why are you not surprised by that??? LOL!!

The stamp set featured here is called Mixed Bunch and I am in love with this set because it has a punch called "Blossom" that fits perfectly around each of the flowers!!

There are three big flowers in this set,as well as three small circle images that co-ordinate with both the one inch and 3/4 inch circle punches. You can see them here as I have stamped them, punched and popped them up with dimensionals.

See the butterfly in the middle?  That's a flower too! I just cut off two of the petals and added a pool party punched flower behind (slightly off-set). The ribbon tied around the center of the butterfly to make her antenae is also from the Everyday Enchantment ribbon and brad pack.

Leadership Make and take card

I just love this card!

It's one of our Leadership make and takeand it uses one of my absolute favorite stamp sets from the mini right now called Mixed Bunch and it's matching punched called "Blossom".

The colors... Old OLive , Poppy parade and Daffodil Delight go sooo well together! I would never have thouight to come up with this combo!

I should also point out that the flower behind the Daffodil Delight flower is actually one of the MANY flowers you get in the Designer Printed kit on page 18 of the mini. This kit is amazing!! You get a ton of product and I also love the pink rhinestones that come with it in two different sizes too!!

Another Gate fold card...

Hello!

Today, I have another "Gate Fold" card for you. I'm lovin this new style and how easy it comes together using the Framelits Big Shot dies.

Here, I've stamped my image using the stamp set from the Occasions mini called Apothecary Art. This set is designed to co-ordinate with the framelits and I must say it does so perfectly!!

Did you notice the Sale-A-Bration items on this card? I used the Everyday Enchantment paper for the side panels and the cute brad that's holding the bow together is also free with Sale-A-Bration. It comes in the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack. I just can't stop using these fun new supplies!!

Here's a look at the side view, that shows how this card folds together.

You could totally watercolor the flowers on this stamped image but I chose to leave mine the way they were to keep my card simple.

Simple Thank you's...

Today, I have a simple thank you note card to share. I made these for all of my January customer orders. They came together so quickly using the postage punch and the  Everyday Enchantment Designer series paper. This paper is so beautiful and the best part is that the whole package is free during Sale-A-Bration with a $60 order. The stamp on the front of the note card is also from a Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Outlined Occasions. I love this set !!!

 

Well... it's busy day ahead with piano lessons right after school for Amanda and then the Family Dance and slient Auction at the school tonight. But then, it's 5 days off school for the kids!!! Which means we get some rest and no worries about packing lunches! Whoo Hoo!!

Happy Valentine's day!

Wow what a day!

I had  a blast volunteering at Amanda's school for Valentine's day and it was also the 100th  day celebration at school. Hard to believe that they have been in school 100 days since September already. Where's the time going?

Today, I would like to shae with you a fun Valentine card. I made this card using the Framelits Big shot dies. I am just in love with these new dies! I can't stop using them!! The best part is you get 6 different sizes so you can cut all kinds of images and layers. the possiblities are endless!!

This card was easy to put together using the P.S I love you stamp set. I was thinking that I should put this set away now that Valentine's day is over, but I think I will keep it close by so can make some fun Anniversary cards with this one too!!

 With valentine's day coming to an end....I'll share some last Valentine's treats with you ...

Hope your having a great start to your week!

Our weekend was busy but fun! I had a great time on Saturday at my buffet class! It sure was nice to sit and catch up with the ladies who I haven't seen for a while!

While we were stamping, Kevin took Amanda out for a bit and look what they brought me .... So sweet!!

Amanda had a busy weekend too! Check out all the crafty stuff we did together. We made 20 of these for the kids in her class...

I guess she was just warming up, because then she had an idea in her mind for a special card for Aunt Barb and uncle Trent. Check it out...

So she wanted to have something pop out in her words "like a jack in the box". So this is what she wanted...

 I thought we were done , but then she says "Mommy we have to to the inside too." LOL! She wanted another "jack in the box" inside... Complete with velcro dots to keep the jack in the box closed!! Cracks me up!!!

Then, while I was cleaning up, she found some scrap cardstock and a small strip of silver glimmer paper. When I looked , she was trying to wrap it around her finger. She said she made herself a diamond ring... that's my girl!!! LOL!! She wore this all evening until bedtime.
