Hello!

I know it has been a terribly long time since my last post and I apologize. There has been a lot going on in my life lately, and I am happy to say I am back.

I have so much to catch up on and so much I want to share with you. We enjoyed an amazing time in Disney World for the Stampin up! trip. I would like to extend a very special thank you to all my customers who have supported me and helped me earn this amazing vacation! I could not have done this without you!

For today... I know you've stopped by for some stamping inspiration so I have a fun Mother's day card to share..

I call this style of card the "swing" card as it used a couple of brads to hold the outside layers together and they can freely swing open like this..

The colors for this card are Pretty in Pink, Cherry cobbler and Whisper White. The desigenr series paper is called Twittwerpated. The layers were all cut using the Framelits die called the Labels collection. The tea cup is from one of my favorite stamp set called Tea Shoppe.

Today I have a some fun little purses to share with you. These are so cute and they are just the right size for a lip balm, some chocolates, or even some jewelry.

They were made using the new Petite Purse Bigz die. This die is so much fun! I will definitely make good use of this little gem.

I made these fun purses using the new Summer Smooches paper and fabric brads. This paper is so bright and cheery. I just love it! The best part is .. it's available now! Starting on April 1st you can now order the paper, fabric brads, stamp set and Stampin up! even has actual fabric in three of the patterns too!!

 Hello!

oh my, Thanks for checking back! So much has been going on.. I don't know where to start to catch you up. Life has been crazy. Our little sweetheart is home today recovering form the nasty stomach flu and last week she had a fall at school and ended up cutting her eyebrow on a coat hook attached to the wall in her classroom. I still get shivers thinking about how close this got to her eye. She was a brave little trooper and didn't cry one tear as she got 6 stitches in her eyebrow. the doctor at the alberta children's hospital was simply amazing. Here she is smiling after Aunt Barb took her to get some new clip on earrings...

Our other sweetheart ( he'd totally cringe if he heard me say that but actually he will be sweet 16 on April 26th) Unbelieveable where does the time go?

Congratulations to Andrew and his Calgary Acedemy Knights highschool basketball team on their Gold Medal!! Way to go guys!! You played great this year!!!

 

Ok, now on to today's post...

Last week at my Blossom Builder's class one of the lovely ladies in my downline, Wendy, brought along hre new recruit, Candace Oliver. Welcome to our team Candace!!

Candace brought along some cards to share that she had been working on. She was kind enough to let me take some pictures and share them with you.

Check out these cool cards both made using the stamp set called "Summer Solstice". I just love the embossed flowers and how she cut the petals to make different looking flowers. Check out the background. She randomly stamped the tall grass stamp from the set called "inspired by nature" to get this very cool look. So clever!

The thing that really makes this card pop are the centers of the flowers. Check it out...she used real poppy seeds in the center of the flowers! Love it!!

I just love this little tyepwriter! You sure can whip up some quick and esay cards with this little set.

Here, I've just used basic Black ink and I punched out  a little heart using the Owl punch and the sparkly red glimmer paper for some added bling.

I hope you had a great weekend. Mine started out good but ended terrible.

Yesterday I spent the whole day in bed with the stomach flu. I am praying that no one else in our family gets it!

Thank you so much for checking back!! I guess this is my "Lucky" day if you've checked back! I'm sorry to have been missing but I'm afraid life has taken over...once again. But I am so happy to be back creating and blogging gain!!

Here's today's card...

A simple peek-a-boo card using whisper white, soft suede and lucky (kinda fits the occasion) limeade cardstock.

The inside greeting is from a retired hostess set....

Check out Amanda's Leprechaun trap that Daddy and I helped her make for school. The top is a circle of green felt so that when  the leprechaun steps off the ladder to get the gold... he falls in. LOL!

Today I have a fun easy card that I cased from Erica Cerwin's card on Pinterest. The crisp colors and the simple shapes make this a nice, clean card.

Pack-A-Punch is back!!!

Hello!

Today, I am happy to announce that my Pack-a-Punch class is back on my schedule! I've missed this class and I really love my punches!!

Here's  a sneak peek at one of the fun cards we will be doing in this class...

This card was inspired by Crystal Rood's card on Pinterest but I changed up the background as I pulled out the new Rosette die from the Occasions mini and made a fence for the bunny to jump through. Reminds me of the bunnies last summer who used to travel between our yard and our neighbor, Angie's  yard. Remember that Angie?? LOL!

The background flowers are from the set called Just Believe and the greeting is from teeny Tiny Wishes.

I will be hosting this class on Wednesday, March 14th as a buffet class so the cost will be $5.00 to register and then you can make as many cards as you wish for just $2.50 per card. For those of you who have punch cards from last year, you can get a punch if you attend and make just 4 cards. I will be discontinuing the punch card program but I will be honoring all the punch cards that have previously been issued. Don't forget to bring yours if you have one.

Stay tuned as I will unveil all the other cards you can choose from in the next couple of days.

The deadline to sign up for this class is Sunday, March 11th.

Hello!!

Today, I would like share this fun box that we learned how to make at Leadership. I have been making them up for my upcoming hostess gifts and filling them with some fun surprises! I love that this box can be used over and over as it's put together with three pieces. A belly band, a fancy favor box and another whisper white box that fits inside the fancy favor box.

The flowers on the front of this box were made using the awesome Designer Printed kit on page 18 of the Occasions mini catalogue. This kit is so much  fun and you get a ton of flowers that are double sided and perfect for layering. Also in this kit ,is a sheet of 60 pink rhinestones in two different sizes.

I am offering this kits as part of a class on Wednesday, March 21st. Two times... 9:30Am and 7:00Pm .The cost will be just $20.00 and it includes your very own Designer Printed kit to make  three cards and the box above. You will have tons leftover to make more cards at home or embellish your scrapbook pages.

Hoppy Leap Year day!!

Happy Feb 29th! Another leap year!

This morning while going to school.... Amanda says' "Mrs. Morton said that if you were 16... today you would be 4 "  I guess I needed more coffee because it took me a while to clue into what she was saying!LOL!!!

I just had to stamp something with this cute little frog today. Isn't he (or she) cute? This little froggie is from the Ronald Mac Donald stamp set called Turtle & Co. Did you know that Stampin up! donates $3.00 from the each sale of this set? It's on page 16 of the main catalogue and it's such a cute set and in support of a great cause too!

 

The colors for this card are Early Espresso, Real Red, Certianly Celery and Old Olive. These colors are all in the Getting Started Collection which is a great set of colors!!

I'm having too much fun making cards with this set! I can't believe I've neglected to play with this one sooner! Stay tuned I'll share my other cards soon.

Off to get reday for my workshop at Pam's house tonight! Soo excited !!!
